Privacy policy

Last updated · 20 June 2026

This policy explains what information Warc Africa (WARC Group, “WARC”, “we”) collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

⚠ Template policy provided for the demo. Review and adapt with qualified legal counsel — and align it with WARC’s actual data practices — before launch.

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through this site:

  • Enquiry details. When you submit a sourcing, partnership or contact enquiry, we collect the fields you complete — such as your name, email address, phone number, organisation, and the message or requirement you describe.
  • Technical logs. Our servers may record standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) for security and reliability. This site uses no third-party advertising or behavioural analytics.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • respond to your enquiry and follow up about sourcing, partnership, advisory or career matters;
  • operate, secure and improve this website; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies needed for security and to keep the site working — for example, a session cookie and a CSRF token that protect form submissions. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Sharing

We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate the site and respond to enquiries (for example, hosting or email providers), and where required by law. Any such providers are expected to handle your data only on our instructions.

Data retention

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to address your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

International transfers

WARC operates across West and East Africa and works with international partners, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we take steps to protect it consistent with this policy.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including HTTPS and a strict content-security policy — to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for a professional, business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
